Kea Norrell-Aitch is an Educator with Michigan State University Extension in the Children and Youth Institute with a focus on Mental Health and Emotional Wellness. Her primary office is in Warren, MI although she provides statewide coverage for 4-H Healthy Living. She started with MSUE in 2006 and spent the first seven years of her career providing leadership to a large 4-H mentoring program in the Detroit area. In 2012, Kea was recognized by President Barack Obama and the White House as a Champion of Change.

Kea is the PI for the Michigan 4-H Walmart Healthy Habits grant and Co-PI for the STOP - Preventing School Violence Grant. These two grants support statewide 4-H healthy living programs for children and families to increase balanced mental health, mindfulness, good nutrition, and overall wellness. The STOP grant offers Youth and teen Mental Health First Aid Courses to various high schools across the state.

Kea is a certified Youth and teen Mental Health First Aid Instructor, a Michigan ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Initiative Community Champion and is dedicated to positive youth development through building resilience. Kea is committed to helping others and is involved in various ongoing community service projects that support and increase mental and physical health. She possesses a BS in Family and Community Services from Michigan State University and a MA in Family Counseling from Spring Arbor University.
