River is a Master's Student currently working in the Forest Entomology Lab under Dr. Deborah McCullough. He completed his undergraduate degree at St. Lawrence University, receiving a B.S. in Environmental Studies and Biology in 2022. During his time at St. Lawrence, he worked as a USDA Pathway Intern on a project focusing on the black ash ecosystems. River will be continuing this work here in Michigan, working to understand key questions regarding the future of black ash forests following emerald ash borer invasion.
