  • MSU Construction Management alumnus Dan Hamilton works on MSU Billman Music Pavilion project

    The MSU College of Music is adding 37,000 square feet of new space to the music building, naming it the Billman Music Pavilion. This project also includes an additional 8,500 square feet of renovations.

  • Construction Management’s Dong Zhao receives 2018 American Society of Civil Engineers ExCEEd Faculty Fellowship

    Dong Zhao, PhD, assistant professor of construction management in the MSU SPDC, was recently selected as a 2018 American Society of Civil Engineers ExCEEd Faculty Fellow and was invited to participate in the ExCEEd Teaching Workshop in June.

  • MSU Construction Management graduate student earns $2,500 Irvin Yackness Foundation Fellowship to attend program in Washington, DC

    Shay Chakraborty, a CM graduate student in SPDC earned a $2,500 fellowship from the Irvin Yackness Foundation, which enabled her to travel and attend an urban development executive program related to her master’s research at George Washington University.

  • MSU School of Planning, Design and Construction participated in the Design & Build Day at Impression 5 Science Museum

    On Oct. 13, the SPDC participated in the Design & Build Day at Impression 5 Science Museum. This was the second year that HBA of Greater Lansing and Impression 5 organized this event, and this year, SPDC was one of the 11 participating facilitators.
