Research Interests: My PhD studies largely focused on the evolution of sexually dimorphic traits, using Drosophila species as a model. How do different species use sexually dimorphic signals to perform mate choice? Furthermore, how do these sexually dimorphic traits evolve under the drive of sexual selection on a genetic and molecular level? I am trying to investigate this topic from phenotype to genotype. Sexual dimorphism provide nature with diversity and beauty, and I hope my research can fulfill the community with new insights and ideas.
