The Produce Safety Technician Program (hosted through 6 Michigan conservation districts throughout the state) is unique to Michigan, and provides growers with support from friendly, knowledgeable (and did we mention FREE) local Produce Safety Technicians. Growers can request a farm visit to troubleshoot produce safety practices, or a (or both) to help them identify and navigate their on-farm produce safety goals.
