Required Qualifications

▪ B.S. Forestry.
▪ Experience in timber sale preparation and/or administration preferred.

Beneficial Skills

▪ Knowledge/experience with Lake States Silviculture.
▪ Knowledge/experience with standard forest inventory systems.
▪ Ability to work independently as well as working with others.
▪ Good communication skills.
▪ Experience working with Michigan DNR and/or Lake States USFS.
▪ Knowledge/experience with GPS & GIS technology.
▪ Knowledge/experience with common computer software.
▪ Wildlife degree/experience or other post graduate work.
▪ Knowledge/experience in forest certification management systems (FSC, SFI, Tree
Farm).
