Christie Bahlai (post-doc Landis lab) was selected by www.nature.com for its first interview on digital tools for a new series it intends to publish. Bahlai describes her work as involving “… various quantitative techniques to explain or predict the distribution and abundance of insect populations and communities in time and space, as well as developing and evaluating metrics designed to quantify the functions and impacts of these organisms within managed landscapes.” She keeps a blog about her experiences with data management and science.
