First US Success of Nonhuman Primate Gene Editing
Dr. Keith Latham and colleagues have demonstrated for the first time in the US effectiveness of gene editing using CRISPR/Cas9 technology in rhesus monkey embryos.
Dr. Keith Latham and his lab are featured in a May 1 MSUToday article, "First US Success of Nonhuman Primate Gene Editing," describing groundbreaking recently published results. The results of the study are published in Human Molecular Genetics.
