Great news from the North Central Branch of the Entomological Society of America meeting.

Great news from the North Central Branch of the Entomological Society of America meeting: MSU Entomology’s student team won the Linnaean Games. They will next compete at the national ESA meeting in Minneapolis this fall.

The ESA Linnaean Games are a question-and-answer, college bowl-style competition on entomological facts played between university-sponsored student teams. Each team is comprised of four players. The teams score points by answering questions correctly.

The MSU team included Steven Nichols (Cognato Lab), Kristin Deroshia (Grieshop Lab), Marissa Schuh (Landis Lab) and Dan Hulbert (Smith Lab) and is coached by Matt Grieshop. Congratulations!
