Comments

All varieties are a tad behind normal in terms of cone development but made major progress over the last two weeks. Yields look like they will be above average again this year. Cascade, Nugget, El Dorado and Zuper Saaz are in cone stage. Chinook, Cashmere and Vista are just beginning cone development. There has been a small amount of mite pressure, but they’ve been effectively controlled. Corn borer has been spotted and treated for, but overall pressure has been low. Disease pressure has been low this year as well.
