Ashish is an M.S. candidate from Nepal. He has an educational background in food policy and applied nutrition from the Friedman School of Nutrition at Tufts University. Prior to joining MSU, he was serving as a research manager at Helen Keller International, Nepal, working on the mycotoxin research study carried out by the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Nutrition. He is experienced in various aspects of a research study such as field operations and office management, survey data collection, training of enumerators, data management & analysis. Ashish’s professional interest areas are food systems transformation, food safety, improved governance in nutrition programs, linkages between agriculture and nutrition, research findings communication, research-to-policy translation, and poverty reduction.
