Computational Engineer, Great Lakes Fishery Commission

Biography: Dr. Daniel Zielinski is a Principle Engineer / Scientist with the Great Lakes Fishery Commission and project lead on the bi-directional selective fish passage (FishPass) project. His research interests are broadly focused on exploiting computational resources and experimental technology to better understand how environmental stimuli influence physical and behavioral responses in aquatic biota. He is stationed in Traverse City, MI where he is working with multiple agency partners to construct the FishPass facility and plan and coordinate selective fish passage research.
