Computational Engineer, Great Lakes Fishery Commission
Biography: Dr. Daniel Zielinski is a Computational Engineer with the Great Lakes Fishery Commission and project lead on the bi-directional selective fish passage (FishPass) project. His research interests are broadly focused on exploiting computational resources and experimental technology to better understand how environmental stimuli influence physical and behavioral responses in aquatic biota. He is stationed at the USGS Hammond Bay Biological Station in Millersburg, MI where he is working with multiple agency partners to develop a facility design and research and assessment plans.
