Outreach Specialist; Michigan FFA State Executive Secretary
David Wyrick was principal of Byron (MI) High School from 1998 to 2005, and an Agriscience teacher from 1976 to 1998, all at Byron H.S. He received his BS in Agribusiness and Natural Resources Education from MSU in 1976 and a MA in Agricultural and Extension Education in 1984, also from MSU. His Agriscience program and FFA chapter were recognized as being among the most active in the state, and his students won numerous regional, state, and national awards in FFA activities. Among other responsibilities as State FFA Executive Secretary, he works closely with the state FFA officer team, directs the planning of the annual FFA State Convention, and coordinates the many career development and skills contests that occur throughout the year.
