Sarah Klammer is an Academic Specialist for the Extension Center for Local Government Finance and Policy. She completed a Masters in Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics at Michigan State University in 2017. While at MSU, Sarah worked on a Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center project, culminating in her thesis on the economic availability of woody biomass in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Sarah subsequently worked as a Research Analyst for the international food safety and quality scheme GLOBALG.A.P. in Cologne, Germany. She then served as a Cooperator Economist for the USDA-APHIS Plant Epidemiology and Risk Analysis Laboratory through North Carolina State University until early 2019, when she returned to Michigan and to MSU.
