Lindsey Gardner is the Associate Director of the Great Lakes Leadership Academy and a statewide Specialist in leadership. Lindsey has a broad range of professional experience including public education advocacy, affordable housing development, entrepreneurship, and youth development. As a former community organizer and nonprofit manager, she has a unique perspective on community engagement and organizational development. Lindsey is a skilled facilitator and coach trained in visioning, strategic planning, environmental scanning, and action planning with the Technology of Participation. She is currently pursing certification in coaching. Lindsey’s main area of expertise at MSU is conflict resolution and is trained in the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument. Lindsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organization Development and Cognitive Studies and a Master of Education in Community Development and Action from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
