Mary Donaldson is a Michigan State University Extension Food Safety Educator providing food safety education for consumers and food services in Hillsdale, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe, and Washtenaw counties. 

She has earned degrees in Journalism(AA) and Baking & Pastry Arts (AS) from Washtenaw Community College. Mary has also earned a Bachelor of Science in Family Community Services and a Master of Science in Food Safety from Michigan State University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Jurisprudence in Global Food Law from the MSU College of Law. 

Mary holds a ManageFirst Professional Credential through the National Restaurant Association, is a ServSafe Manager Certification Course Instructor and Proctor, and is FSPCA certified in Preventative Controls for Human Food.
