Ray is working for the Vegetable Entomology lab under Zsofia Szendrei researching neonicotinoid resistance in Colorado Potato Beetle (CPB) populations across Michigan, as well as alternative insecticide programs for protection against CPB compared to the traditional neonicotinoid application in potato. They received their bachelor's degree at MSU in Crop and Soil Sciences- Agronomy, as well as a minor in Entomology. Ray is interested in insect pest management, soil health, and sustainability.
