I am a Fulbright scholar hailing from the Philippines, currently pursuing a master's degree in Entomology. Dr. David Mota-Sanchez and Dr. Erich Grotewold are supervising me. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Entomology, which I successfully completed at the University of the Philippines Los Baños in 2018. Following my undergraduate studies, I assumed the role of lead agricultural entomologist at the Regional Crop Protection Center - MIMAROPA region, which falls under the Philippine Department of Agriculture.

My ongoing research at Michigan State University revolves around the management of Spodoptera frugiperda (fall armyworm) and Helicoverpa zea (corn earworm) through the use of maysin, Bacillus thuringiensis & peptides, and biological control agents.
