  • Titas’ research interests primarily focus on land acquisition and displacement, particularly the gendered access and ownership of land. She also studies the role of institutions in addressing the use and access to natural resources, community rights of local and traditional dwellers. Further, how 'land-grab' for development initiatives have accelerated in the wake of globalization in India.
