Types of Watering Systems

Segment: 8. Plant Culture & Propagation, Standard: Manage water conditions for plant growth. (Pathway II.A.3)


There are many types of watering systems that are used in agriculture. The focus could be on watering systems used in a specific production method such as greenhouse production, crop production, or small garden production. Some specific watering systems that could be discussed are drip tape and hoses, large and small scale irrigation sprinklers, and overhead sprinklers.
