Outreach

Michigan has a vibrant forest bioproducts industry that provides employment and economic development for communities throughout the state. Michigan industries also export billion of dollars in forest products to other states and internationally.

The mission of the Sustainable Bioproducts Program, SBP, in the Department of Forestry is to support Michigan industries and citizens in sustainable production and use of wood and other bioproducts.
