Associations & Committees
Washtenaw County 4-H has a variety of associations and committees to guide the county program and certain project areas or events. Participation is highly encouraged and many offer great leadership opportunities for youth!
Washtenaw County 4-H Advisory Council
Advisory Council is the association that helps to oversee activities for the county 4-H program. The council is made up of all 4-H Leader, Volunteers, and Teen Leaders throughout the county program. It serves as a counsel to the 4-H Program Coordinator for 4-H Youth Development and the Washtenaw County MSUE staff.

Youth Show Committee is the association that helps to oversee activities for the county annual 4-H Youth Show
Washtenaw County 4-H Horse Board & Washtenaw County 4-H Horse Leaders Association
The Washtenaw County 4-H Horse Leaders Association provides educational opportunities for youth involved in the hose & pony project. The committee is made up of 4-H Leaders and Teen Leaders in the project area. HLA coordinates events through theCounty such as the Tack sale, 4-H Spring Round UP Clinic, 4-H Youth Show for Horses and other Fundraisers and Event and 4-H Clinics. 4-H Horse and Pony project clubs throughout the county are encouraged to attend and are recommended to send at least one representative to each meeting.
