Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardscape Foreman to join our team. The Hardscape Foreman will be responsible for leading a crew in the installation of various hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardscape construction, excellent leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew in the installation of hardscape features according to project specifications and design plans.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope.
- Train and mentor crew members on proper hardscape construction techniques and safety protocols.
- Monitor work progress and quality to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
- Manage materials and equipment inventory, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members to address any issues or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in hardscape construction, with demonstrated proficiency in the installation of various hardscape features.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a crew.
- Strong knowledge of hardscape materials, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of landscape design principles (preferred).
