NURSERY AND FIELD POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE 2024 SEASON

Mason, MI

Wildtype is an ecologically focused native plant nursery and environmental contractor looking to fill several field technician and nursery positions for the 2024 season. These are full-time positions that start in March and run through fall. Part-time employment will also be considered.

The nursery positions involve transplanting, watering, weeding, and preparing orders for pickup or delivery.

The field positions involve working at the nursery as well as off-site on a variety of environmental stewardship projects, including invasive plant species management, planting, and other restoration projects. Working off-site involves the use of herbicide and therefore requires having or obtaining a Michigan Department of Agriculture pesticide applicators license in categories 5 and 6. Working off-site also requires safe and skilled use of chainsaws and brush cutters. Please visit our website at wildtypeplants.com to learn more.
