Scholarships for Saginaw County Residents

Application Due Date: April 1, 2024


To apply for a SAGINAW BRANCH scholarship, you must:

  1. Be a resident of Saginaw
  2. Not be related to a member of Woman’s National Farm and
  3. Be a college undergraduate (sophomore, junior, senior).
  4. Be enrolled in a college program in the areas of ecology, sustainability, conservation, forestry, horticulture, nursery, wildlife management, natural resources, veterinary science (large animals), natural resources, land scape design, or a related field.
  5. Have a grade point average of 0 or better in areas of math and science.
  6. Provide a brief biographical essay: Include if you are implementing your area of study outside of the classroom, and tell us about your goals in your field.
  7. Provide a letter of recommendation from your current academic

Attached is the application form of the Woman’s National Farm and Garden Association scholarship. It is the pleasure of our association to help lighten the burden of the cost of higher education for the school year of 2023/2024.

We thank you for distributing the forms to students who are interested in a careers related to ecology, sustainability, conservation, forestry, horticulture, botany, wildlife management, natural resources, agriculture, veterinary science (large animals),architectural landscaping or a related field.
