Troy Garden Scholarship

The Troy Garden Club (Troy, MI) offers partial tuition scholarships to those who
- are interested in horticulture
- are pursuing horticultural education, and
- are planning to work in the horticultural field after completing an educational program.
Those eligible to apply must graduate from high school no later than the year in which they apply. Preference is given to residents of Oakland and Macomb Counties and to college or university upperclassmen.
The 2025 Troy Garden Club Horticulture Scholarship, a $6,000 partial tuition award, is open to the public and is awarded based upon a recipient’s (1) interest in horticulture, (2) pursuit of horticultural education and (3) plans to work in the horticultural field after completing an educational program. Applicant must be enrolled in a Michigan college. Preference is given to those pursuing an undergraduate degree. Completed applications should be posted/e-mailed to the attention of the Scholarship Committee at the address below no later than October 31, 2025. The scholarship recipient will be notified by November 30, 2025. [NOTE: TGC members and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply for or receive scholarships from the TGC.]

The purpose of the Troy Garden Club is to bring together those who are interested in home gardening, so that they may
learn better horticultural practices, promote civic beauty, conserve natural resources, share their knowledge and
promote the purposes of Michigan Division, Woman’s National Farm & Garden Association.
