Practical Information

Computers and software. Participants will need to bring a laptop computer for the summer school. It is their responsibility to be equipped with the appropriate software upon arrival. 

The following software packages are needed:

  1. Microsoft Excel
  2. Ngene Installation (temporary license will be provided upon arrival)
  3. Nlogit 6 Installation (temporary license will be provided upon arrival)
  4. Stata 17 (temporary license will be provided upon arrival)

Technical notes:

  • Ngene, Nlogit and Stata do not work on Mac
  • Electrical sockets (outlets) in the United States of America usually supply electricity at between 110 and 120 volts AC. Please ensure that you have the necessary adaptors to be able to plug into the following types of outlets.
