PAA Hall of Fame Award

The MSU School of Packaging will seek and accept nominations of graduates or former students for the ALUMNI HALL OF FAME AWARD.  The award was established in 1995 and was previously known as the Packaging Alumnus of the Year.  A list of previous recipients can be viewed below.  Recipients of the Hall of Fame Award are known for their support of the School of Packaging and Michigan State University, career accomplishments, and community service.  The Hall of Fame Award may be given to more than one recipient in a given year.  Decisions on admission to the Hall of Fame are made by the School of Packaging Alumni Board members at the time of nomination.

PAA Service Award

Service, be it to Michigan State University, the School of Packaging and the packaging profession is one of the primary objectives of the MSU Packaging Alumni Association.  Not only does it assist others but it also reflects positively on the MSUPAA.  In an effort to encourage, recognize and reward those who have demonstrated a history of continuous service in the above areas, the MSUPAA Service Award has been developed.

The selection is made annually from candidates who have demonstrated continuing outstanding volunteer service to Michigan State University's School of Packaging and/or meritorious service to the packaging community on a local, state, national or international level.  Candidates must possess the highest standards of integrity and character to positively reflect and enhance the prestige of Michigan State University's School of Packaging and the packaging profession.

PAA Innovation Award

The MSU School of Packaging will seek and accept nominations for the ALUMNI INNOVATION AWARD.  This award will be given to a Michigan State SoP graduate who has made a specific, definable contribution to the advancement of package technology.  This contribution can range from the invention of a new consumer product/package to a unique manufacturing process or to significant environmental stewardship.  Candidates must possess the highest standards of integrity and character to positively reflect and enhance the prestige of Michigan State University's School of Packaging and the packaging profession.

Young Alumni Award

The MSU School of Packaging will seek and accept nominations for the YOUNG ALUMNI AWARD.  This award will be given to a Michigan State University SoP graduate who have distinguished themselves by obtaining a high level of professional accomplishment and who possess high standards of integrity and character to positively reflect and enhance the prestige of Michigan State University's School of Packaging and the packaging profession.  These individuals demonstrate a commitment to MSU SoP by continuing outstanding volunteer service on behalf of the university and/or participation and leadership in the meritorious public service on a local, state, national or international level. Must have a degree from MSU, with the first MSU degree granted within the past 10 years.
