As a Teaching Specialist, Dr. Eustice’s teaching assignment includes instruction of CSUS 200 (Introduction to Sustainability), CSUS 301 (Community Engagement for Sustainability), and CSUS 474 (Advanced Topics in Tourism Management). Crystal also serves as an undergraduate academic adviser and internship coordinator for ESS and SPRT students in the Department of Community Sustainability.

Crystal holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Tourism and Protected Area Management with a specialization in Ecological Food and Farming Systems from MSU, a M.S. in Community, Agriculture, Recreation, and Resource Studies, and a B.S. in Environmental Studies and Agriscience with a specialization in Community Engagement and Education. As an interdisciplinary researcher, her interests and projects include applied research in parks and recreation, sustainable tourism, local and regional food systems, as well as research focused on teaching and learning.
