Collaborating with Stony Brook University (SBU), Turkana Basin Institute (TBI), and Innovative Global Energy Solutions (IGESC). Researching, developing and testing energy and water technologies for off-grid use. Tested water desalination unit at Turkana Basin Institute in Ileret, Kenya, in early 2016. Design and testing of an inexpensive and robust drinking water unit for off-grid use. The unit, by using Membrane Distillation, is driven by temperature difference between hot and cold streams of water, obtained using environmental energy.
