Affiliates Meeting Presentation: Phil Howard, "Visualizing Food & Agricultural Data"

Dr. Phil Howard, MSU Department of Community Sustainability, talked about creating visualizations from food and agriculture data at the quarterly CRFS Affiliates meeting held November 11, 2014. Using examples from his own work, Dr. Howard demonstrated five key principles for anyone to use when creating data visualizations.

Dr. Howard also shared a data animation that depicts changes over time in the organic processing industry. This animation may be viewed on Dr. Howard's website.
