County Rules & Regulations

Non-4-H Horse Riding

In strictly 4-H sponsored events (such as an all 4-H show or workouts), adults and children who are not 4-H members or leaders may not ride any horse on the premises, even if they are the owner of said horse. 4-H and Michigan State University's insurance policy covers only 4-H members and leaders and all riders must fall under this coverage at strictly 4-H events. This policy does not apply to 4-H sponsored open shows.
