Twist, Reach & Relax with Angela

Length: ~14–15 minutes

What you’ll do

This seated (or standing) routine combines gentle twisting, reaching, and flowing movements to improve mobility, reduce tension, and support posture. It focuses on the shoulders, arms, spine, and core while helping you reconnect with your breath.

The video includes:

  • Shoulder shrugs and rolls to release tension and improve mobility
  • Neck movements with controlled circles or side-to-side motion
  • Wrist mobility and light stretching to reduce stiffness in the hands and forearms
  • Flowing arm movements (freestyle and breaststroke-style patterns) to increase range of motion in the shoulders
  • Spinal rotation exercises with reaching and cross-body movements
  • Seated core work using gentle twists and “elbow-to-knee” movements
  • Seated cat-cow movements to mobilize the spine and open the chest
  • Light arm strengthening (bicep curls and tricep pulses)
  • Upper body stretches for the shoulders, triceps, and forearms

Participants are encouraged to move slowly, stay within a comfortable range of motion, and use their breath to guide each movement.

Materials needed

  • Chair (recommended; standing option also provided)
  • No additional equipment needed
