Hillcrest Farms is a small chemical free, four-season grower of fresh market produce located outside of Eaton Rapids in southern Eaton County. We have  been farming at this location for 10 years, with past payroll employees currently attending several Michigan Universities, including MSU. Our growing practices follow generally accepted organic practices in both protected culture (hoop houses) and open field crops. Our customer base includes two farmers markets, two school districts, wholesale distribution, a small year round CSA, and online direct sales.

 

We are looking to hire 2 Horticulture/ Agriculture oriented interns for summer employment, 25-36 hours/ week. Starting wage is $16.00/ hour, and I offer a modest travel allowance for those working over 30 hours per week. Wages are paid every two weeks and managed by a local certified accounting firm.
