Information for Employers

School of Packaging Career Fairs

Career fairs are an effective way to connect with highly qualified students seeking internships and entry-level positions. The MSU School of Packaging hosts two career fairs each year, bringing together employers and students from across the packaging value chain.

Employer registration for all career fairs is completed online through Handshake: https://msu.joinhandshake.com/edu/career_fairs/60388

Recruiting Through Handshake
Michigan State University is committed to ensuring all students have equitable access to career opportunities. Employers are encouraged to post all internship and full-time positions through Handshake, MSU’s online career management platform.

  • New employers may create a Handshake Employer account at: https://msu.joinhandshake.com/edu
  • Once approved, employers may post positions and register for career fairs.
  • Existing Handshake employers seeking to add staff users should contact: Jill Cords, CANR Career Consultant jcords@msu.edu | 517-355-0234

Important: Before registering for a career fair, please post your open positions in Handshake so they can be linked to your registration.

Build Your Brand and Increase Visibility

Engaging with student organizations is an excellent way to increase your presence on campus and connect with students beyond the career fair.

Employers are encouraged to collaborate with the Packaging Student Organization at Michigan State University, the Michigan State University Packaging Society (MSUPS), to explore sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and student engagement initiatives.
