Leon R. Christensen Memorial Scholarship

Available to currently enrolled MSU students who are majoring in Horticulture. This department scholarship is one of several which participate in a single scholarship online application form, typically due in early October of each year. Currently enrolled Horticulture Students will receive an e-mail from their advisor when the electronic application process opens, with instructions on how to apply as well as the deadline.
Typical amount awarded: $2,000.
Student selection criteria for this scholarship is as follows:
- Junior, Senior or Graduate Status
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Declared major in Horticulture with financial need
- Students who have demonstrated capacity to achieve educational and professional goals, the motivation to achieve these goals, and the initiative to seek opportunities to further their progress in the horticultural profession
