Scholarships for ANR Juniors, IAT Freshman, & Graduate Students

Application Due Date: March 1, 2025


The Michigan State University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Alumni Association plans to award up to eight $3,000 scholarships to ANR juniors, three $2,000 scholarships to freshmen in Agricultural Technology and two $3,000 scholarships to graduate students this spring.

The scholarship will be awarded to students who demonstrate leadership and community service, possess effective communication skills, have a commitment to his/her chosen field of study, are well-rounded in academic and non-academic pursuits and have a vision or plan for a future career. Since 1989 we have awarded more than 450 scholarships totaling more than $775,000. Interested students can apply HERE or go to Alumni Association Scholarship webpage. The application form lists the following information and materials that must be submitted to be considered for this scholarship:

· Completed application form

· 300 words or fewer essay describing your future plan/goals

· Resume

· Two letters of reference

Scholarship application packets must be submitted no later than March 1, 2025, for consideration online at https://www.canr.msu.edu/alumni/alumni/anr_alumni_association_scholarships The CANR Alumni Association scholarship committee will choose a select number of candidates to interview for this scholarship in March 2025. Announcements of the awards will be made in late March. The actual scholarship money will be given for the 2025/2026 academic year.
