MLFCN January Monthly Meeting

Join the Michigan Local Food Council Network for our monthly phone/video conference, featuring topics and speakers relevant to the work of councils across the state. We will share federal and state legislative updates and include time to discuss offers, requests and connections among councils. 
 

During this meeting, Grassroots Organizing Coaching Group participants and the group facilitator (and MLFCN coordinator), Jordan Lindsay, will join us to share their experiences and approaches in the coaching group.  The Coaching Group supports local food councils and other Michigan Good Food Charter partners to learn grassroots organizing and advocacy campaign skills and provides participants with direct support on the challenges they are facing through both peer learning and coaching.  Jordan will also explain and model some of the coaching methods used in the group.

The meeting will also include state and federal legislative updates and conclude with offers, requests, and connections.
