The practical education you'll gain through the Institute of Agriculture Technology will prepare you for in-demand jobs in the green industry.
The IAT and our program coordinators are here to help you develop a plan based on your interests.
Two-year certificate programs also include professional internships for added hands-on experience. Certificate programs are offered on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing and in partnership with several community colleges around Michigan.
Following the two-year certificate programs, graduating students may also consider transferring into an MSU bachelor's degree program. There many different majors and areas of study through the MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

The Landscape and Nursery Management Program at MSU combines classroom instruction in the production, selection, use and management of landscape plants with applied learning through hands-on field labs and a required internship.
