Position Overview:
Landscape Design Intern works with our internal team to help create beautiful and functional landscapes for
both residential and commercial GLC Clients. The chosen candidate will be responsible to assist our team in
the completion of a wide variety of landscape projects both residential and commercial. Our current work
includes a mixture of various size landscape and hardscape construction with a focus on residential work and
partial commercial work. We are located in Flat Rock, MI and are looking for individuals local to the downriver
area. This position is for the 2025 summer season with flexible hours and the potential for career

Responsibilities
● Landscape Design Intern provides support to staff with ongoing landscape and hardscape installation
projects.
● This intern position offers the opportunity for landscape architectural students to participate in the
day-to-day activities of the office as well as field workings and gain additional understanding of the
landscape profession as a whole.
● Manages time effectively, organizes, and works on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet
project deadlines and client needs.
Qualifications:
● Must currently be enrolled in an accredited Landscape Design program
● Must have an understanding of landscape and native plants in the midwest.
● Must have experience with 3D Modeling Software, preferably Uvision® 3D
Landscape Creator.
● Job requires being cooperative with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, positive attitude.
● Willingness to perform work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
● Verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
● Valid Driver’s License
Compensation & Benefits
● $23.00-$28.00/hour (based on experience)
