Plant Health Specialist

Qualifications

Experience in horticulture, nursery management, or greenhouse
operations.
• Knowledge of plant diseases, pests, and treatment methods (trees,
shrubs, and perennials common to the Midwest).
• Ability to safely apply chemical treatments (MDARD Pesticide Applicator
License a plus).
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Physically capable of inspecting stock and working in an outdoor
environment.

Preferred Attribute

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Science,
or related field.
• Familiarity with West Michigan plant materials and regional
climate conditions.
• Experience with wholesale or B2B distribution yards is a bonus

Job Schedule/Compensation
This is a full-time position. Pay based on experience.
• Full time position M-F with some weekend work during the busy season
