FSHN students win competitions at 2019 MANRRS conference

Two FSHN undergraduate students received first place awards in competitions at the 2019 MANRRS conference.

At the national MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences) Annual Career Fair and Training Conference in Overland Park, Kansas, on April 3-7, 2019, both of the MSU Food Science & Human Nutrition students in attendance won first place awards. The competition included undergraduate students from across the country, many from other land-grant institutions.

Louanges Ndayishimiye, a junior in dietetics, won first place in the undergraduate research competition, and Fleur Mushumba, a sophomore in food science, won first place in the undergraduate professional essay competition.
