This is a demonstration of an article which has all fields filled in. This is the summary field.
Use Article when you’re adding an individual piece of information that is written by an Person or group that can be shown in multiple locations. This content features author, publication date, often times an image. (Examples: News release, feature story, article, information article.)
Title is the headline text indicating the nature of the article below it. Titles in article content type should be written in sentence case and have action words and verbs that describe the article.
This further describes the content of the article. The summary will appear on the article page and on index pages.
Optional but highly preferred, insert image that is the highest quality and with appropriate permissions
Required when there is an image, describe the image for those using a screen reader (serves as alternate text)
Not required, should be different from the image description, related and relevant to the article.
Required. The date the article is published.
Only use if there is no author relationship. This will display in addition to the author relationship, be sure not to repeat the information that’s already listed in author. There can be more than one author.
Required. The body of the article.
This is the author or authors of the article. For people who are not in the system use the author field to list additional authors.
This is any grouping of other articles with which the article is affiliated. It is possible for an article to to be affiliated with more than one Series.
This is any Organization with which the article is affiliated. It is possible for an article to to be affiliated with more than one Organization.
The person(s) featured as the primary subject of the article. Example -- Those whose research is mentioned, quoted, etc.
Displays any articles where this article is a related article.
Displays the publications that the article was published in.
This is any topic or other grouping of information with which the article is affiliated. It is possible for an article to to be affiliated with more than one Dataset.
This is any Place with which the article is affiliated. It is possible for an article to to be affiliated with more than one Place.
Choose articles to feature after this article that are closely related to the subject matter not counting articles in a series.
