Neighborhood Nutrition

Listen to the Neighborhood Nutrition podcast to learn tips and tricks about nutrition and making the most out of your food dollars from our community nutrition instructors. Katie Wisneski, MSU student and intern, interviews nutrition instructors from around the state. 

Nutrition instructors teach nutrition and physical activity classes throughout the state of Michigan and help participants find ways to make healthy choices that fit their lifestyle and budget. MSU Extension nutrition programs, and this podcast, are funded by the US Department of Agriculture's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - SNAP and the USDA's National Institute of Food and Agriculture's Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP). Both programs allow MSU Extension to provide nutrition education for limited resource residents throughout the state of Michigan.
