Announcing MSU Product Center Business Assistance Award: Round 2
The Michigan Good Food Fund is excited to announce a second round of Business Assistance Awards to support enterprises helping to grow Michigan's good food future.
Would your business benefit from nutrition labeling, product information, or market studies?
Five businesses will receive $1,000 each toward targeted support from the MSU Product Center. If your business would benefit from nutrition labeling, product formulation, or market studies, this award is for you. Learn more about the winners from the first round.
Applications can be submitted online and are due by March 8. Applicants from Round 1 that were not selected for an award may apply for an award in the second round.
Any Michigan-based enterprise working to increase healthy food access is invited to apply. This includes the range of businesses that grow, process, distribute, and sell healthy food that reaches low-income and underserved areas. Preference will be given to enterprises which are also advancing racial and social equity, job creation, local sourcing, or environmental stewardship.
This award can be applied toward designated support from the MSU Product Center, which helps entrepreneurs develop and commercialize high-value products and businesses in the food and ag sectors. Learn more about MSU Product Center services. Awards must be used in 2019.
Applications are due March 8 with awardees to be announced in spring 2019.
