D2L (MSU Extension Learning Management System for Online Courses) 

Desire2Learn is the centrally supported campus learning management system. MSU Extension staff can offer online courses and workshops, set up communities and workgroups, facilitate discussion, and more. Participants in MSU Extension online course receive technical support from the MSU Discovery Services Help Desk through the MSU Library. 

Podcasts 

Podcasts can be a great way to connect with your audience in a way that allows them flexibility to learn on-the-go. There are many different types of podcasts including interviews, storytelling, conversational podcasts and more.  

Social Media 

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram….these are all innovative tools that can be implemented to reach new audiences. For more information creating a social media presence for your program, contact your MSU Extension Communications Manager: Communications - ANR Communications & Marketing. 

DIY Video 

There are many ways to create fun videos to share with clients. See the resources below for creating DIY video with just your phone! 

Mobile Learning 

Text message reminders can be a way to reach clients that may have limited Internet connections or that have a busy schedule. They can be used as reminders for classes or as a method for sharing content with clients.
