Background and Research Interests

Tina received her dual bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University. She obtained her master’s degree in Dietetics from MSU and became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in April 2023. Tina is presently a doctorate student in Dr. Rockwell’s lab, studying nutritional immunology. Her research focuses on investigating the relationship between food preservatives and immune cell activities in murine models, particularly the activation of natural killer (NK) cells, myeloid cells, and γδ T-cells.
