Meagan Shedd
Meagan works with early childhood educators and K-12 education settings to increase access to locally grown and affordable foods. She links farms with educational institutions, facilitates the development and sharing of resources, and aims to provide training and technical assistance across multiple settings while advocating for young children and providing policy initiatives. Meagan has a BS in Dietetics with a Specialization in Health Promotion, an MS in Community Services, and a PhD in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology, all from Michigan State University. She brings nearly 25 years of experience in working with families with young children to the Center, including work with MSU Extension, public health, state government, early childhood education settings, and institutions of higher education.
