Carmen Metzer is an undergraduate in Lyman Briggs College at MSU and competed in the undergraduate poster competition at the 2013 Midwest ASAS meetings in Des Moines March 22-13 and won third place. Carmen reported on a project that she completed during an internship with Whireshire Hamroc of Albion, IN. Her project evaluated the effects of immunocastration in mature boars and worked with Ron Bates, Animal Science Professor. Carmen also presented her results in an oral presentation at the ImprovestTM Symposium held on the afternoon of March 13.
