The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) offers numerous opportunities in helping students prepare for career opportunities and engaging with employers. We value the partnerships with industry and alumni and look forward in helping employers connect with our students.

Depending on the industry, employers will recruit freshman and sophomores for internships. After completing a summer internship, many students receive full-time job offers upon graduation.
Information for Partner Employers
The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is interested in helping you connect with our students. Our students are looking for internship opportunities to gain industry experience and for entry-level opportunities to start their professional careers.
Our students have a wide variety of specialized skill sets, including science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines. Programs range from two-year certifications as part of the Institute of Agricultural Technology, bachelor of science degrees and graduate programs.
Career Fairs, on-campus interview rooms, and job postings as just a few ways employers can help recruit students for internships and full-time employment. Employers can also view student resumes through Handshake.
MSU uses the online career management system called Handshake. Employers can post job openings on Handshake, sign up for career fairs, and request information sessions. Employers can also view student resumes on this system.
